Polykar Strikes Gold
Winners of the 2021 Flexible Packaging Achievement Award in the Sustainability Category
MONTREAL, Canada, March 10, 2021— Polykar is pleased to announce that it has won the 2021 Gold Flexible Packaging Achievement Award in the Sustainability category. The Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards honor packaging and converting excellence in the flexible packaging industry.
These awards outline the key criteria attributes in several categories including: expanding the use of flexible packaging, technical innovation, printing, shelf impact, packaging excellence, and sustainability categories.

The competition is among the most respected in the industry thanks to the outstanding caliber of packaging entries.
The material used in Arbor Teas’ packages consists of compostable films that when combined, create a sustainable packaging solution. The sealant layer manufactured by Polykar plays an important role in the making of the Arbor Teas Organic Tea packaging.

The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) has conducted the annual Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards Competition since 1956 to showcase the industry’s innovation and the advances that have changed packaging. The competition is among the most respected in the industry thanks to the outstanding caliber of packaging entries and the objective and methodical judging process as all entries are judged by an independent panel of experts.
